Alexa Goulas

Alexa’s passion for dance blossomed at a young age. Since the age of 2, she has received training from various studios and instructors. She trained for 12 years at Lisa Pilato’s Dance Center in Dracut, MA in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip-hop, and was a part of their competitive team for 10 years. When she moved away to boarding school, she left competition and found other ways to channel her passion for dance. At Phillips Academy in Andover, MA she became heavily involved in dance through extracurricular and academic courses. Over the course of four years, she has trained under Judith Wombwell, Erin Strong, and most recently Sayer Mansfield. As a member of the Andover Dance Group and captain of both the jazz and hip-hop teams on campus, she has had numerous opportunities to perform and choreograph. She has also trained at New York City studios Steps, Broadway Dance Center, and Peridance in various styles including contemporary, jazz-funk, heels, and more. She enjoys teaching dance because it allows her to create and express herself in a fun and athletic way!
