Instagram LIVE Yoga class tomorrow @ 11am! Tune in for your Sunday flow 🥰🧘🏼‍♀️💙
Enjoy this bedtime flow to help you unwind and relax for a good nights sleep. 🛏 😴 💤 We recommend doing this right before bed and the best part is that everything can be done in the comfort of your bed! Finish with your savasana and drift right off to sleep.
We are offering our dancers a BONUS week of classes. We typically break for April School Vacation (4/26-5/2), but we have decided to offer a normal virtual class schedule. Theme: Crazy Hair Week!
For Tutorial Tuesday we’re breaking down this advanced pose! 🦂

1. Start on your forearms and walk the toes closer to your arms.
2. Kick the legs up the a firearms stand. Connect to your core for balance.
3. Find your focal point to bring your gaze in front of the hands.
4. Begin to bend at the knees and point the toes.
5. Bring the toes closer to your head while lifting the chin and head closer to the feet.
6. Press firmly through the arms to keep your torso aligned and maintain the balance without falling over... if you fall out (which you will!!!) Embrace it and get back into it 🙂
7. Bring the feet to touch the head.
8. Hold here and breathe here for as long as you can!
9. Slowly bring the feet back down to the mat where you started.

Benefits of this pose include strengthening the shoulders and arms, increasing your spinal flexibility, improving your balance and concentration. Happy practicing yogis!
Wait you mean to tell me that you don’t take pictures in passé to show off the 🍑??? Check out our on demand studio with now 50 videos available in Yoga, Dance, Barre, and meditation! Bonus yoga class tomorrow @ 10am on IG LIVE 💙🥰
Have you joined us on the screen yet?! 💻 We have two options for you:
1. LIVE classes happening via zoom. Upon enrolling at our schedule for class (just like you normally would) you will receive a link from us about an hour or so before class with the zoom link & suggested Spotify playlist. *Be sure to check your spam/junk/promotions folder as some people reported it went to spam* Don’t worry you don’t even need to have your camera on! Take class live with us from the comfort of your own home. Classes usually run at 7am, 8am, 10am, 11am, 6pm and 7pm. All Barre & Yoga classes.

2. We have on demand classes as well! This is part of our subscription based online studio. Tons of prerecorded yoga classes, dance, barre and meditations. We are constantly adding new content on here as frequent as possible. For this option you can head to the link in our bio.
The best part about the virtual world is that we can now have those who live further away from the physical studio take class with us! We have LOVED seeing the new faces of people all around the country! 💙🥰
Disney princess party week! Dress up as your favorite Disney character for your virtual dance classes this week. Let’s keep the magic alive 💙🩰🌟✨
For this tutorial we are going over a pivot turn and ways to add a little more style into it. 💙 We miss shaking our pom poms with you but check out our dance cardio party classes on our online studio subscription platform! Link is in our bio. 🥰
Happy Birthday Miss Courtney! As a graduate with a Dance major at Dean College she has now put her efforts into teaching children the love of learning and dance. She recently graduated with her Masters in Special Education from Rivier University. As a 7/8 Student Services teacher at a local Charter school, she loves helping students in the classroom and the dance studio. Being the daughter of a football coach, she is proud to say she is formally a New England Patriots Cheerleader of three years. 💙 Let’s all wish Miss Courtney a Happy Birthday in the comments! 🎉🎂🎁
With so many uncertainties in the world currently we wanted to offer a flow focused on releasing stress. Every single one of us has experienced some sort of change. As human beings we feel anxious and stressed when our life changes especially when we feel a strong sense of uncertainty. Know that you are not alone. We are in this together. If you feel overwhelmed, stressed, uneasy, or anxious this short yoga video incorporates asanas (poses) that are designed to help calm the nervous system. We offer you two affirmations to repeat to yourself: I will not stress over the things I cannot control. I let go of my expectations. 💙
When trying to create a name for the studio I read a quote from Martha Graham (a famous dancer, choreographer and pioneer of modern dance) that said “There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expression. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.” I was a sophomore in college in my dance history course and it clicked in my soul. Vitality: the state of being strong and active; energy. It’s about feeling fully alive. Dance, yoga, teaching, moving... it’s in those experiences where I feel most alive, strong, energetic, empowered. When submitting my LLC name to the state I wrote The Vitality Place down and it just felt right. I hope this studio has been able to give you a sense of vitality as that is what I believe my purpose in life is. To help make people feel the most alive in their lives through movement.
A gentle reminder 💙
Happy birthday to Miss Victoria! 🎉🎈🧁 Victoria graduated from Dean College where she has obtained a bachelor of arts degree in performance and choreography. During her time at Dean she was a member of a student run dance team, participated in multiple on campus performances, and was able to perform at the patriots home opener game in September of 2017. Victoria has always had a passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge of the stage. Now she gets to share that passion with children and young adults ages 2-18. 🩰 Wish her a happy birthday in the comments!!! ☺️💕
Yoga progress!!! Just one year later! Truthfully not practicing this pose that often but practicing #yogaeverydamnday (sometimes taking child’s pose, but nonetheless showing up to my mat) 💙 Little improvements add up to bigger ones! Have you practiced today?
Hi friends!!! The schedule for the upcoming week has been posted. Head to our schedule to book your virtual LIVE zoom classes. Scorpion pose 🦂 just filmed an advanced yoga sequence for the Online Studio! P.s this is the first time I have been able to touch my toes to my head in this pose!!! Practicing daily and seeing changes in the body is pretty cool. Also this pose is one where finding your breath becomes easily more of a focus than the pose itself.
Keep moving with us from home! 💙 We have barre & yoga classes happening via zoom. Sign up as usual and receive an email link from us before class. Want to practice on your own time? We launched our virtual studio where you can take dance, barre, and yoga classes anytime, anywhere. Link to that is in our bio! Thank you for keeping us going. We couldn’t do it without you all.

As coronavirus has evolved over the past few weeks, we’ve done all that we can to support the health and safety of our teachers, students and local communities. To stay true to that, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close our studio beginning today, March 16th effective immediately. We plan to resume classes March 30th, but will reassess as we get closer and keep you updated. Although this will be challenging for all of us, we are confident in the strength of this community and know we can get through this together. Information on dance curriculum and virtual classes has been sent out via email. In the meantime we encourage you to head over to our YouTube Channel for free class content that can be done from home. We are beyond grateful for this community and can’t wait until we can dance, flow, sweat, and smile together in our studio again soon. 💙
Love,
Nicole
We LOVE Mommy & Me Yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ 💙
Our 3-5 year old ballerinas are practicing their dance for the recital! 🩰
Happy Friday TVP community! Given the growing worldwide concerns regarding coronavirus we want to reassure you that having a clean and healthy environment to offer our clients is always of the utmost importance to us. We regularly wipe down/ spray all equipment, door knobs, barres, mirrors, etc., but we are taking extra measures to do this frequently throughout the day. We vacuum, swiffer and wash the floors regularly. To take extra precautions we ask that you wipe down your equipment with our disinfectant wipes after class. All yoga blankets have been washed thoroughly. TVP remains a hygienic place for you.

If you are feeling ill, have recently visited an area with known outbreaks, or have been exposed to someone who is or is likely to be infected we kindly ask that you stay home from class until you return to full health. If this is the case we always post under 10 minute videos on our Instagram TV, or you can practice along with us on our YouTube channel where we post longer classes!
We would also like to inform you that in our dance and barre classes we will not be using hands on adjusts and assists for the time being with the exception of spotting in Acro & tumbling classes.
For yoga we always offer intention cards at the beginning of class to indicate whether or not the yogi wants to be assisted with physical touch. As always we assure you that all instructors have clean, washed hands!! We always completely understand wanting to practice in your own space without the assistance of touch for any reason and especially under the circumstances.

We remain committed to offering you a safe, healthy, clean, fun, and relaxing environment to enjoy moving your body.
Thank you for doing your part for your own health and the health of others in our beautiful community.
Sun Salutations are a great way to energize the body making them an awesome routine to incorporate first thing in the morning. Sun Salutations help to strengthen the physical body. The key is to link breath to movement. The more you practice the more natural it will become. Soon you won’t even have to think about it. The breath will naturally guide the movement. It’s magic truly!! 🤩 .
REMEMBER: You can always modify! Maybe you take a couple breaths in each pose before working on picking up the pace to one breath one movement. .
You can do think 2-5 times or as many times as you would like!!!! We recommend beginning with a Sun A and moving into a Sun B. You can find a Sun A video on our IGTV channel under series: Fit Friday!
