Recital Information

We are so excited for our 8th Annual Dance recital! Our show is Saturday, June 27th 2026. We will have an on stage dress rehearsal in the morning and the show in the evening. Both take place at Seifert Performing Arts Center at Salem High School.

Dress Rehearsal Info

Our Dress Rehearsal will take place the morning of Saturday, June 27th at 9:30am.  Dancers must have their costumes on with hair done for the rehearsal. Moms are allowed in the dressing room space as needed (i.e. hair and costume changes). Dancers and moms can sit in the audience while waiting for your routine. Dancers will run the finale first and then the entire recital in show order to practice the quick changes between numbers. We will set up a designated area for all quick changes.  After the dancer completes their dances they are free to leave the dress rehearsal.  This is not the case for the recital.  All dancers will remain backstage for the show’s entirety with the exception of our youngest dancer’s (3 & 4 year olds) who may need to sit with family in between their dances.

Dancers must return for the recital at 4:15pm.  Please do not arrive earlier or later than that. We will not be letting anyone in until 4:15pm on the dot. We ask that you wait in your car until 4:15pm if you do arrive early.

Recital Info

Our Recital call time for dancers is 4:15pm.
Doors will open at 4:30pm.
Show begins at 5pm.
Show should go no later than 7:30pm.

Dancers must show up fully ready with hair, makeup and in their first costume (see show order below). Please have your dancer wearing makeup. We ask that all of our female dancers have a little blush, lipstick, brown shades for eyeshadow, and either eye mascara or fake eyelashes.  The rest is up to your discrepancy  as the parent.  Whatever you can get your child to wear! (: All hairstyles should be secured with gel/hairspray and bobby pins as necessary. No hair wispies please! Appearance should be neat and clean. See below for more details & tutorials on hair and makeup requirements.

The show begins at 5pm this year. After dropping off your child to the backstage area we ask that you get in line to check in and then take your seat in the audience to watch until your child has a costume/ hair change. Parents cannot stay in the dressing area and must return to their seat in between. We need the dressing rooms as open as possible during the show so less time spent there the better things will run. Parents cannot be on the stage or in the wings at anytime. Most dancers should be able to make their changes on their own as we have limited hair changes for most. The Dancers will not be permitted to leave the backstage area until the show is complete unless truly necessary.  There will be some coloring pages to keep the younger dancers occupied. We have at least one parent’s numbers on file and will contact you if we need you. We have a check-in and check-out system. All dancers must be checked in when they are dropped at 4:15pm. They also must all be checked out before they can leave. This helps assure the safety of our dancers. There will be a sign in and sign out sheet at a table in back stage area. Please make sure you do not bypass this station!! It is for the safety of all our dancers.

Show Order

Below is our show order and quick changes. Dancers will be dropped and signed in to us backstage at 4:15pm. Doors open and ticketing begins at 4:30pm and the show begins at 5pm. Dancers will remain backstage with us for the duration of the show. Our youngest dancers (ages 3 & 4) who may have trouble staying backstage with us can sit with their family in the audience in between their routines if needed. Please return them to the backstage area at least 3 dances before their routine. At the end of the show all dancers will take a bow and finish with a dance party on stage. We will have a check-out system before you can leave with your dancer at the end of the night. All parents must sign their child out on our form. Miss Nicole will stand near the check out table so your dancer can take a photo with her before you leave if you would like. We ask that only one parent comes to pick their child up and pack their belongings up. The rest of the family can wait in the lobby area to greet your dancer after. This helps keep the line orderly and the children safe and accounted for which is our top priority.

If your dancer has a 1 or 2 number quick change, we will handle the change itself backstage with them. We ask that you set up their quick changes at dress rehearsal for the first half of the show and at intermission for the second half of the show. We will have designated spots with name tags for all dancers with 1 & 2 number changes. Parents will come help with any changes 3 or more numbers apart if needed.
