Elise Robichaud

Meet Elise

Elise grew up dancing and always loved being active but it wasn’t until she went to college that she “accidentally” fell in love with exercise and all that went into it.  She planned to study Physical Therapy but had to earn a bachelor’s degree first.  She started to study Exercise Physiology as it was one of the degrees that she knew would be compatible when applying to PT school but didn’t really know what she was getting into.  Once she started college, she loved learning more about the body and movement.  Elise became and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, worked as a person trainer, and graduated with her bachelor’s degree from UMass Lowell.  Elise then began her Yoga Teacher Training at Frog Pond Yoga Centre and became a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher in 2019.  In 2021, Elise graduated from UMass Lowell with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and currently works as a physical therapist.  Elise recently completed The Coastal Method Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training and has enjoyed furthering her yoga education.  Elise hopes that class members feel empowered, supported, and have fun when they take her classes!

Favorite thing to do on the weekend?

I love to spend time with friends and family, go out to brunch or to a coffee shop/cafe, and get outside when the weather is nice.

What motivates you to work out?

I love how I feel, both physically and mentally, when I work out.  For me, working out is a great way to relieve stress while also having fun!  I especially love group fitness classes because I love the energy in the room when I’m working out with other people, the music (catch me singing along if I know the song), and meeting new, amazing people in the process.
