Emily Palange

Meet Emily

Emily found her love of fitness while in college at St. Anselm’s here in NH. She took that passion to the next level her Junior year earning her first of many Pilates and GroupX certifications. Today, she holds a number of Pilates certifications and trainings from Balance Body to Stott, Barre, TRX suspension, and STRONG by Zumba. She has experience teaching in large chain gym settings, corporate fitness centers and most extensively in the boutique studio space, like TVP. Her passion and where she feels most at home is in the boutique studio space. The environment allows for the mutual benefits, mind and body, that fuels her love of being an instructor. Her top favorite classes to teach are Pilates, Dance Cardio, and Barre.

Emily is a proud MA native, born and raised, and although having attended college in NH for 4 years, had lived in MA her whole life before moving to NH in the summer of 2021. She promptly found TVP and it was the studio that felt most like “home” after moving from her central MA studio of 8 years. She is a mama to 18 month old son, Reid, and 2 year old Goldendoodle Bruce Wayne Springsteen. Outside of the studio and instructor life, Emily works for Dell Technologies (previously for MA-based EMC2 –you’ve seen their box at Fenway and tower at Gillette–until the 2016 buyout) as a Program Manager in their Modern Consumption business.

Fun Facts

Lunch! Ever since I was very young, I’ve never been big on breakfast.

Coffee or Tea?

Coffee is one of my main food groups

Favorite Book?

Podcast you’re listening to?

Just starting to hop on the Podcast bandwagon (about a decade late). Right now, it’s anything that makes me laugh. As an avid hockey lover – beyond just my Boston Bruins- I love Spittin’ Chicklets, I can get easily sucked into Bravo-universe ones like Pillows & Beer or Giggly Squad but to billing to laugh until my belly hurts, Darcy & Jer.

Favorite music artist?

Just one?! As you’ll see in class playlists, I’m all over the board.

Calvin Harris, Sublime, AC/DC, Dave Matthews Band, Lady Gaga, Otis Reding, Hozier, Bob Marley, Iration, Pitbull, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Zac Brown Band, Nelly, Dropkick Murphys, Ghost of Paul Revere, Yacht Rock-style 70s/80s

Favorite thing to do on the weekend?

Prior to mom-life, snowboarding was life on the weekends. These days with a toddler, it’s all about soaking up as much active time as I can with our little family and friends. Be it being outside, heading to the beach in Maine during summer, playing in the snow and teaching our LittleMan to love the wonder of winter.

What motivates you to workout?

There is nothing that feels better than moving your body. Some days that means a killer Dance Cardio class or a Booty Barre butt whooping, others it’s a nice guided Yoga class that forces you to slow down and disconnect to give your body the movement-based rest it needs.

Favorite thing about TVP?

The energy and community Nicole has established is infectious. Her support of students, clients, and instructors is second to none!
